Where are the best places to take a child to a Naturopath? Do you have a list of Pediatric Naturopaths?
Mothersource.org is a collection of mama professionals (two counselors, a prenatal yoga instructor, a postpartum doula, a chiropractor, a baby boutique owner, an acupuncturist, a life coach, a prenatal Pilates instructor and a photographer) that share expert advice from their respective fields and their experience as mothers. They offer services to families in the Portland, Oregon area.

I’m about to transition my 5 month old daughter from sleeping in a co-sleeper to her crib. I had planned on using a mesh/breathable crib bumper for safety reasons but she has developed a preference of sleeping horizontally with her head firmly against the cloth wall of the co sleeper.
Now I’m wondering if I should get something w/ more padding as to not hurt her sweet little head. Any suggestions?

Hi, I recently started on Yaz – my doc said that it wouldn’t affect my milk production. Just some background – I am a working mom and pump – usuallygetting 5-6 oz per pump session. My son is 7.5 months old, takes solids 3 xper day, nurses morning and evening and takes 2 bottles during the day.
I started the Yaz last Wednesday, then took a trip with my son where I was nursing more than puming (which for me, usually INCREASES my production). I started back @ work yesterday after the trip and can barely pump enough to feed him for the day @ day care. I’ve talked to an advice nurse and she said for sure it’s the Yaz, so I’m going to stop taking it immediately. The
question now is… how do I get my supply back? Will it come back naturally or do I have to do something special?
Any help would be appreciated – I’d like to get this figured out SOON! Thank you so much!
