Pediatrician Recommendation for PDX

Prenatal and Postpartum Yoga Educator and mama of two, Camille Mülchi recommends her favorite Portland Pediatrician.
One of my favorite aspects of my work as a prenatal and postpartum yoga teacher is being able to connect mamas with the wide variety of wonderful local resources/practitioners we are blessed with here in the Portland area.
One question I am asked regularly is: “Do you have any pediatricians you recommend?”
And I certainly do!
Dr. Monique Pritchard is simply fantastic. After the birth of my son in 2002, we saw no fewer than 6 different pediatricians before finally (blessedly) finding “Dr. Mo.” This mama of two has an amazing way with babies and children—(and parents, too!)—respecting them, genuinely engaging with them, and putting them totally at ease.
We trust her completely. For our family, and so many others, she provides the perfect balance of western medicine (whenever warranted) and a more holistic model of care as well—offering all the information parents need in order to make informed choices, and then honoring those choices when they are made. Even at 7, Mattias looks forward to each visit with his doctor (although down slightly from the giddy anticipation he displayed around the ages of 3 and 4, when he went through his “I want to marry Dr. Pritchard” phase).
Over the years I have referred countless clients to Dr. Pritchard, and in every single instance, the feedback has been the same—absolutely glowing praise (and gratitude for having found her!)
