Mama and Personal Coach Savannah Mayfield shares an article that offers insight into how to maintain connection through the teen years.
So many parents tell me that they feel worried about what the teen years have in store for their relationships with their children. In our culture, we often hear that teenagers are rebellious and difficult. As the mother of a toddler and a teenager, I have had a very different experience. I believe the teen years can be some of the most fun, connected times you have with your child! I have experienced deep conversation, tender emotions and amazing learning with my teenaged son.
My article in the Tranquil Parent this week is an insightful interview with two moms who teach a Connected Parenting workshop. They share some pretty paradigm shifting ideas about how to relate to your teen to maintain connection and open communication. If you have kids of any age, you will want to read this!
