Family Music with David Hall

A local Portland, Ore. musician showed up to the Mothersource.org bash and was a hit!
We were so thrilled to have a visit from local family musician David Hall at our 5th birthday party! For 20 minutes, he played his guitar (and harmonica) and sang fun, up-beat songs that thrilled kids and parents alike. He has been described as “Woody Guthrie meets Raffi on sugar,” and combines folksy, positive songwriting with a compelling personality. His sparkling eyes and positive energy put people at ease immediately. Our kids were bopping and we were singing along!

His songs range from imaginative storytelling to silly-wiggle-your-body tunes and seem to carry a thread of understanding the daily life of family. He encourages kids to “Bee Positive” and “Be Yourself” (both award winning albums) and knows that sometimes you just need to have “Breakfast for Dinner”!
He has CDs for purchase (what a great birthday gift, so stock up), will come play at events or parties and has an events calendar on his Web site listing his upcoming concerts.
We can’t wait to hear him play again!
