Where are the best places to take a child to a Naturopath? Do you have a list of Pediatric Naturopaths?

At Mothersource.org, we value the care that natural medicine can offer our children! We are so lucky in Portland, Oregon to have a wealth of care available for our families. We have a few NDs that we have worked with personally and enjoy recommending.
Dr. Holly Beckwith specializes in women’s health and pediatrics and has an office close-in NE PDX. She has taken the time to answer a few ask the expert questions here on Mothersource.org, so feel free to search for them and read her responses!
The Natural Childbirth and Family Clinic specializes in midwifery care and pediatric medicine. Our favorite Naturopath there is Dr. Jen Gibbons. She is both a midwife and a pediatric ND and has lots of experience working with children and babies of all ages.
Dr. Justin Yohalem Ilsley works with kids as well as adults and specializes in rashes, allergies and upper respiratory conditions.
Dr. Susan Allen of Triangolo Family Clinic is one of Portland’s most trusted NDs and she has worked with some of our children as well.
You can call an ND and ask to meet with them to get a better sense of their practice and if it would be a good fit for your family’s needs. Each ND has a different working style and it is important to find one that you feel really comfortable with. The great thing about this type of care is that it is personal, they spend lots of time with you and offer many options for helping your child’s body function in the most healthy, connected way possible.
