The Tender Call of the Wind Chime

I bought myself a wind chime and hung it outside my window. Throughout every 24 hour cycle, it will chime as randomly as Mother Nature wishes. When I hear it, I consciously stop, breathe, focus on being centered and nurture myself with some positive affirmations like:
What an amazing job you are doing!
Ah, I appreciate the way you love your babies so tenderly.
You are such a wonderful mama!
I visualize the wind blowing off any negativity I may be feeling and cleaning my slate.
I feel instantly renewed and refreshed to continue whatever I am doing. And its becoming part of my daily routine. The other aspect of this for me is that it chimes during the night and I think I must be responding with the self nurture in my sleeping life because the last few mornings (even though I still am woken a few times a night to my crying baby and nursing him down) I have felt kind and gentle with myself. I am not well rested, but able to get up and move on. I attribute that to my wind chime reminder response of loving myself!
